1. The Bible
We believe the Bible is the full revelation of God to mankind. It contains 66 books, 39 in the Old Testament, and 27 in the New Testament, which was written by men who were verbally inspired by God’s Holy Spirit. They are completely without error in everything they teach and incapable of being false or untrue. The Bible is the highest authority in directing a Christian on practical life, behavior, and practice.
We believe there is One God, who created all things, and governs all things after the counsel of His will. He is holy, eternal, just, and loving. This God exists in Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God making Him co-equal with the Father and also One with the Father. Therefore, He is also eternal, holy, sovereign, just, and loving. Jesus Christ took on human flesh to save humanity from its sin. He died under the penalty of human sin, and rose three later and ascended on the Throne in Heaven ruling all things as He builds His church. One day He will return in the flesh.
4. The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit as the third member of the Trinity of God. Therefore, He too is eternal, holy, sovereign, just, and loving. His ministry is to regenerate spiritually dead people, by first convincing the world of sin and of God’s future righteous judgment. Secondly, he reveals the beauty and necessity of Christ and His Cross and grants faith to believe. He sanctifies believers, equips believers, and fills believers.
We believe mankind is created in the image of God and therefore has value and worth. We believe mankind’s glorious image has been corrupted by original sin leaving mankind depraved and condemned.
We believe that salvation is only possible is God’s works it Himself for us. We believe God has sent forth His Son to die on the Cross taking a sinner’s place. We believe that it is by faith that we receive forgiveness of sins and all the benefits that Jesus procured in His life, death and resurrection. Upon believing a person is declared righteous in God’s sight and welcomed as a child of God.
We believe that angels are created by God to glorify Him, many of these angels are ministering spirits for the believers. Yet, there are evil spirits who first rebelled from their sinless state. Among them is the Christian’s arch-enemy, Satan. He is the originator of sin.
8. The Church
We believe the church of Christ is composed of those who believe in Christ and those who are in among the believers and yet may not believe. The Church is both local and universal, as Christ paid the price for a people, a bride, one church. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ and gather regularly to worship God, be edified and encouraged, and then leave to evangelize. We believe in a plurality of elders who govern and shepherd churches.
9. Future Things
We believe in the bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ. He will come and raise dead and judge all people. The believers will live with Him in the New Heaven and New Earth, and the unbelievers will pau for their sins in eternal, conscious punishment in the Lake of Fire.
We believe in believer’s baptism, which is an immersion meant for those who’ve deliberately repented and put their faith in Christ for salvation. This symbolizes Christ's life, death, and resurrection as does it a believer’. We believe in the continual observance of Communion or the Lord’s Supper. This ordinance is symbolic of Christ’s broken body and sheds blood on the Cross.
