The Promise of a Child Born

When two armies marched on Jerusalem and the king shook with fear, God came to the rescue with a promise. The promise was that of a particular child being born. “Behold, the virgin shall conceive… and you shall call His name Immanuel.” In Isaiah 7, the Holy Spirit seeks to dispel fear with one promise, which He invites us to all behold.
