A Serious Kingdom
Culture tends to treat discussion about faith and God casually, but Jesus reminds us that the Kingdom of Heaven is “no joke”. This Sunday, we look at the sobering Parable of the Net in Matthew 13:47-52, a passage that jolts us out complacency and keeps us serious about our faith. This parable compels us to keep evangelizing and also drives us to seek assurance that we’re truly forgiven ourselves.
